Site Tutor

  Monday-Friday  (15-30 hours a week)

Overview: In keeping with the Mission Statement of the Coalition, to implement programs and build effective relationships with the children to fulfill the ministry and mission of Coalition For Kids.

• Attend all appropriate meetings and events
• Participate in all necessary trainings
• Obtain a Commercial Drivers License
• CDL licensed personnel are required to follow transportation procedures and responsibilities
• Provide a safe environment and oversee children’s daily activities
• Set a positive Christian example in word, actions, attitudes and relationships
• Establish an effective, positive, personal and team relationships with schools parents and staff
• Prepare and use educational resources for daily classroom activities
• Build relationships with the children
• Check homework daily
• Complete necessary paperwork
• Know procedures involved in programming operations
• Communicate with your Site Coordinator daily classroom behaviors

Assistant Food Service Coordinator

Monday-Friday 1pm to 7pm (25-30 Hours per week)


  • Assist Director of Food Service Coordinator
  • Maintain a high standards of sanitation and safety
  • Food preparation methods and portion sizes
  • Help stock received food and beverage deliveries, checking delivery contents in order to verify product quality and quantity
  • Oversee food pantry set up and storage in regulation with accommodations
  • Ensure compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving while keeping kitchen facilities and appliances clean and working.
  • Assist with preparing meals for children with special diet needs
  • Have knowledge of the federal and state regulations regarding nutritional standards
  • Maintain an efficient food service program
  • Ensure that established food/kitchen sanitation and safety standards are maintained during all stages of food prep and serving


  • Two years of successful experience in Food Services
  • High School Diploma
  • Demonstrate the ability to keep kitchen in compliance with the State Health regulations
  • Knowledge of foodservice program requirement
  • Basic computer skills
  • Considerable knowledge of quantity food production and serving techniques, food safety/sanitation requirements and procedures
  • An understanding of foodservice program finances
  • Must be Safe Serve certified
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
