Fees

We have a fee guideline system for our summer program. Income and family size will determine your weekly fees. There will be no multiple child discounts for program fees because family size has already been considered. Set fees will be determined at time of registration.

Field Trips

We have five field trips this summer that requires a $10 fee for those children wishing to participate. The $10 fee will be collected on the Monday before the fieldtrip. If you have more than one child, then additional siblings will be $5. If you do not wish for your child to participate in the field trip, then you will be responsible for making alternative arrangements for that day.

Attendance Policy

Your child is not allowed to miss more that two days out of the week and/or more than 10 days during the summer. Vacations, deaths in the family, sickness are all excusable but must be brought to the staff's attention as soon as possible.

Our program starts at 9:00 AM with early drop off as early as 7:30 AM. When you drop off your child, you must come to the registration table, and sign your child in each morning. Have your children here no later than 9:00AM if they wish to participate in our program that day. If your child uses our transportation then an adult must come out to the bus to sign them on and off the bus daily. You may NOT drop off your child at field trip sites, including the pool. Please be sure to pick up your child no later than 5:00 PM. In order to keep our summer fees low, we must close promptly and keep our labor costs to a minimum. There will be a charge of $5.00 per child, for every five minute increment after 5:00 PM unless prior arrangements have been made with Summer Site Coordinators or Amanda Beattie, Director of Programming.

Transportation

Transportation is provided. We have pick up that begins at 8:00 AM. We are located at 2308 Watauga Road. We provide pick up to children who live from our location to Broadway Street, from our location down Lakeview to Morris Baker Funeral Home on Oakland Avenue and from our location to Hughes Street. An authorized adult must sign children onto the bus. We also provide drop off. Drop off begins at 4:00 PM. We take home children that live in the above mentioned area. We also provide two drop offs, one at Keystone Community Center and at the Legion Street Pool large parking lot. Authorized adults must be able to sign children off the bus.
